Many job seekers are inclined to jump at the first job offer that comes their way. But what if it isn't exactly the type of position you wanted? Should you still take it?
Heather Huhman, a career and workplace expert for the online career site Glassdoor, said that while those who have experienced a long-term job search probably feel as though they should take what they can get, there are other options.
"When you encounter offers you don't completely love, you must ask yourself if you will accept the job offer, attempt to negotiate or wait for a better opportunity to come along," Huhman wrote in a recent blog post.
If you find yourself in this situation, here are some things Huhman recommends considering before accepting a job offer you aren't completely in love with:

This reminds me of a day that I wil never forget in a hurry. I was in pry school, a classmate was to have her bday at home after school. The day before, I asked my mother to let me go home with my friend after school for the party. But my mom refused vehemently. I wasn't taking NO for an answer. So I went to my closet, put a denim miniskirt and a pink top in my school bag. I even remember the outfit because that day was like none other.

After school the next day I was the first to jump into my friend's car so they wouldn't leave me behind lol. And I remember her mom asked me if I asked my mom for permission, I quickly said YES.

Nokia just did the unthinkable: The company, such a reliable Windows Phone partner that Microsoft is acquiring most of it, has unveiled an Android phone, the Nokia X. But if you look closely, you can see why.
The Nokia X, launching today at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, isn't just your run-of-the-mill Android handset. The device, the first of several Android products from Nokia, is a budget model (just 89 euros or about $120) that runs a highly modified version of Android.

Similar to what Amazon has done with its Kindle Fire tablets, Nokia has taken out all the "Googleness" from Android and replaced it with its own services as well as Microsoft's. It's even designed the icons to look like what you might find on one of Nokia's Lumia phones.
"Nokia X is a new affordable smartphone family from Nokia," explains Jussi Nevanlinna, vice president of marketing for Nokia's phones. "X stands for 'crossover' between Microsoft cloud, Android apps and Nokia. When we say family, we really mean it. During 2014 you'll see a number of products arriving in this family."

Boko Haram members yesterday Sunday Feb. 23rd attacked two villages, Mairari village of Konduga LGA and Izge village in Gwoza LGA in Borno state killing many people.

This is the second time the sect men are attacking Izge village. They had attacked the village on the 16th of February killing 63 people.  In this recent attack, the men came at about 2am, chanting war songs as they killed elderly people in the village and burnt down all the standing buildings in the village. He signed the bill at his official residence at Entebbe, near the capital Kampala, in front of govt officials, journalists and a team of Ugandan scientists who found no genetic basis for homosexuality, one of the reasons why he finally consented to signing the bill.

Marijuana has long been used to effectively treat symptoms associated with HIV, such as chronic pain and weight loss. But a growing body of research suggests the plant may be able to stop the spread of the disease itself.
Adding to these findings is a Louisiana State University study published last week in the journal AIDS Research and Human Retroviruses. For 17 months, scientists administered a daily dose of THC, an active ingredient in cannabis, to monkeys infected with an animal form of the virus. Over the course of that period, scientists found that damage to immune tissue in the primates’ stomachs, one of the most common areas in the body for HIV infection to spread, decreased.

I’m grateful this brave woman allowed cameras in to record her when she started taking anti-retroviral drugs. What they caught on tape was truly remarkable. Every time I watch it I go right back to the beginning, because, wow.

Think you have HIV? The only way to tell is to get an HIV test, but here are some possible symptoms.

Within a month or two of HIV entering the body, 40% to 90% of people experience flulike symptoms known as acute retroviral syndrome (ARS).
But sometimes HIV symptoms don’t appear for years—sometimes even a decade—after infection.
“In the early stages of HIV infection, the most common symptoms are none,” says Michael Horberg, MD, director of HIV/AIDS for Kaiser Permanente, in Oakland, Calif. One in five people in the United States with HIV doesn’t know they have it, which is why it’s so important to get tested, especially if you have unprotected sex with more than one partner or use intravenous drugs.
