Please I need your advice. I’m deeply in love with my girlfriend of 3 years even though she’s 4 years older than me. I want to marry her but the age issue is bothering her seriously. What should I do?

The issue of age is tricky indeed because many people believe women who are older than their husbands would be disrespectful. However, a marriage is between two people and if they believe that they can make things work regardless of age differences, then they will.
I believe that your girlfriend stayed with you for so long because she is committed to the love you share so all you need to do is reassure her that you are willing to stay by her side despite the fact that she’s older.
Though an important issue, age doesn’t necessarily define the relationship that exists between two people, rather understanding and commitment should be your watchword. True love is a special thing and it should not be cut short over such issues.
