It was Obesere weeks ago involved in a rape scandal, now its Popular Yoruba actor, Ganiyu Oyeyemi popularly known as Ogunjimi in Nollywood who has been arrested by the Osun State Police Command for allegedly raping one of his daughter’s friends at Osogbo, his home town.

Via Sun News:

The Yoruba actor, known for violent roles in Yoruba films was arrested last Tuesday by the Police and detained at the Oke-Baale division of the Nigeria Police, after the victim had reported him.

According to a competent Police source, the actor had been transferred to the Criminal Investigations Department (SCID) of the state police command for further interrogation on the matter.

What seemed like a sugar and honey later turned very bitter and sore for a woman called Sheila when she realized that her cup was full and that it could be poisonous to cheat on your spouse.

Sheila, was caught by the family of her husband called Father Joy in one of the nearby guest house following a tip off from a neighbor that Father Joy’s childhood friend had been seeing Sheila secretly. After some interrogations, they started beating her until it drawn the attention of the surrounding neighbors.

Actor Emma Ehumadu was involved in a ghastly accident while filming a robbery scene with Jim Iyke and other actors at a movie location in Asaba, Delta State on Wednesday March 12th. A female banker identified as Amina Magaji, who works with one of the old generation banks has reportedly defrauded the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, to the tune of N17million.

The Emir reportedly opened the account with the said bank in 1967 but left it dormant over the years and the amount in the account grew to N46million. Amina who is highly placed in the bank got tempted and deceptively requested for a cheque book, claiming it was for the emir. She started operating the account and withdraw monies from the account to the tune of N17million.

A 17-year-old Nigerian girl Forester Samson (pictured above) was stabbed and burnt to death in Moscow, Russia by yet to be identified Russian gangstars, according to a report by Sunday Sun. Find the full report below

Sunday Sun gathered that she was murdered  by yet-to-be-identified Russian gangsters. According to a family source, the perpetrators went further to lock her body in a room and set it ablaze. Though, the police took her to the  hospital, it was rather futile.

The source revealed that Forester was sponsored abroad by one Mercy who is suspected to be trafficking  Nigerian girls  on the promise that she would assist them  with  decent jobs in Russia. The teenager  without hesitation, but with the approval of her mother jumped at the offer with high hopes.

According to the deceased’s elder sister, Sonia Samson, they got a call from  Mercy, on Tuesday March 4,  2014 that Forester had died in an inferno. She added that the family was later told that Forester was stabbed before being set ablaze.

Suspended CBN governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi yesterday Sunday March 16th responded to allegations of financial recklessness leveled against him by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN) and the Federal Government. Find the full statement he released below...
