Movie Producers & Marketers Lift Mercy Johnson's Ban
In a press release signed by the spokesman for Film, Video Producers
and Marketers Association of Nigeria (FVPMAN), Norbert Ajaegbu, the
group said the ban placed on Mercy Johnson has been lifted.
If reports are anything to go by, Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson
can now freely return to working on movie sets as the ban which was
placed on her a few months ago has now been lifted.
In a press release signed by the spokesman for Film, Video Producers and Marketers Association of Nigeria (FVPMAN), Norbert Ajaegbu, the group said the ban placed on Mercy Johnson has been lifted. According to him:
'Having diligently concluded all the jobs in dispute, she leaves us with no choice than to accept her apology.'He further said ‘She is one wonderful personality we would not want to join issues with. She knows when to say sorry. She has concluded all that we asked her to do. We have directed our members to resume all the previous existing relationship with her.'
Mercy Johnson was banned a few months ago from acting for allegedly being ‘too expensive’. Good to know we will be seeing more of her on our screens.
