It was revealed that mother of Ghanian actress Nadia Buari, who was born on November 21, 1982 in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana, had her for a white man out of wedlock. However, later her mother married Alhaji Sidiku Buari, who adopted Nadia legally.
Nadia’s step-father, who is a polygamist, was a man of many talents. He was a musician and a president of the musician union (MusiGA) for 8 years and later served as the vice president of the International Federation of Musicians (FIM).
Alhaji’s children followed his steps, now all of them are in showbiz, from music to modelling, down to acting. For example, Nadia’s elder sister, Shaida Buari, who’s married to a Nigerian, was once miss Ghana 2002 and made to the finals of miss world.
And Nadia’s brother Majeed, who goes by the stage name Jeed Rogers, has big interest in animation and rap music, he has a single “tell em” and an animated video to go with it.
Nadia Buari graduated from the university of Ghana, Legon, with a B.A degree in Fine Arts.
In 2005, Nadia made her first break, she premiered on Ghanaian National Television with the TV series Games People Play. Her first movie was “Mummy’s Daughter”, but only after the movie “Beyonce: The President’s Daughter” she became popular.
She has starred in over 40 movies, once dated Ghana’s most rated football star Michael Essien, they later parted ways, after he fathered a son from another woman who he was rumoured to have dated alongside Buari.
